This section of the site is a place for us to collect and share various videos and presentations related to activities here at Computers for Communities.

Some of the videos are part of our public outreach activites through partners such as the Free and Open Source Learning Centre (FOSSLC) and videos done by others that help to motivate and inspire what we are trying to do such as those found on Youtube and through the TED Conferences

OSBOOTCAMP / FOSS Learning Centre

The first two presentations refer to Free Geek Ottawa (FGO). FGO is now known as Computers for Communities. Hopefuly that clears things up.

YOW09 (Ottawa, Sept 26, 2008):Opening Talks, fastforward to aproximately 16 minute mark. This was our first publicaly recorded talk and is about 15 minutes long. Some great stats and examples are talked about here.

YOW10 (Ottawa, Nov 26, 2008):Opening Talks, fast forward to aproximately 12 minute mark. Our second presentation is about 5 minutes and is an aexample of a lighting talk.

This talks, from TED presenters are great stories that help inspire and drive our efforts here at Computers for Communities. If you have a favourite TED video you think should be on this list let us know.
