Computers for Communities partners with Habitat for Humanity

It is with great pleasure that I am able to officially announce that Computers for Communities has signed a partnership agreement with Habitat for Humanity National Capital Region.  The paperwork was signed just last night.

Thanks to Dave Sampson who laid the initial groundwork with H4HNCR and of course, all of our dedicated volunteers who have worked tireless to help us bridge the digital divide - it was the fact that we are out there making a difference that made us attractive to H4HNCR.

Hello fellow C4Cers,

What we do is so important! This evening I dropped off 5 computers to the Fred C.  McCann Club house of the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, and I was so deeply moved I just have to tell you about it.

Ottawa Non-Profit Computers for Communities Receives Donation of 2 Laptops from the United Way to Start Mobile Computer Lab

Ottawa - (October 13, 2010) Computers for Communities, an Ottawa-based non-profit that helps lower-income individuals get access to technology, has received a donation of two Dell laptops from the United Way to start setting up a mobile computer lab.

Thank you

Computers for Communities (C4C) would like to thank all of the individuals who have generously donated machines to our cause.

Unfortunately, we are feeling the constraints of being a small group and have exceeded our storage capacity.
Due to this overwhelming success, we are not able to accept individual computer donations at this time.

However, we will continue to accept  donations from our technology partners in the IT community.
