Welcome to the Computers for Communities PC refurbishing documentation. If you have never refurbished a computer then this is your first guide through our particular process. We have standardized it so that everyone performs the same tasks and learns the same process. This allows us to start and start the process at any step for any computer no matter where it is in the refurbishing process.

Computers for Communities donates 12 computers to Heritage Academy to help students with dyslexia and attention-deficit disorders

Ottawa, Ontario – Computers for Communities (C4C), an Ottawa-based non-profit that refurbishes computers and distributes them to those in need in exchange for community service, donated 12 computers to Heritage Academy of Learning Excellence. The computers will be delivered just in time for back to school and will help students with dyslexia and attention-deficit disorders.

Computers for Communities donates 8 computers to Rwanda Social Services and Family Counseling to help the Rwandan Community in Ottawa

Ottawa, Ontario – Computers for Communities (C4C), an Ottawa-based non-profit that refurbishes computers and distributes them to those in need in exchange for community service, donated 8 computers to Rwanda Social Services and Family Counseling (RSSFC). The computers will help not only the Rwandan community in Ottawa, but other immigrants, who may not be able to readily access technology.

This document describes the procedure for C4C computer lab site visits.
